Wee embarked on an adventure that combined great food and live music—what could be better? We headed to Buena Vista, located behind the Port Authority, where we enjoyed a fantastic dinner before the much-anticipated Halsey concert.

As we settled into the vibrant atmosphere of Buena Vista, we were ready to indulge in some amazing dishes. The menu did not disappoint! We started with octopus, grilled to perfection, tender, and bursting with flavor. Next up was a delicious burrata salad that was fresh and creamy, perfectly paired with ripe tomatoes and a drizzle of olive oil. For the main course, we couldn’t resist trying the squid ink pasta—a unique dish that was as visually stunning as delectable. The combination of flavors was nothing short of a culinary delight!

After our meal, we went to the concert venue, buzzing with excitement. However, we quickly learned that the journey wouldn’t be straightforward. It took us over two hours to get in! The anticipation built as we finally made our way through the crowds, and when we finally got inside, we had spent a total of $400 for standing room only.

Though we were exhausted from the wait, the energy in the venue was electric. As the lights dimmed and the music started, it was all worth it. But the highlight of the night? Seeing the look on Glynn’s face as Halsey took the stage—was priceless! His joy and excitement made every minute of the long wait worthwhile.

From indulging in exquisite food at Buena Vista to experiencing the magic of live music, it was a night filled with unforgettable moments. We couldn’t have asked for a better way to enjoy good company, amazing food, and incredible music. Until next time, Buena Vista and Halsey—we’ll be back!
